Customer Review: good but some disappointment
dance steps are fine and not too difficult but steps are done to a percussion beat rather than to tunes and real latin music. I really prefer music and so this doesn't feel like dancing, just exercising, and therefore isn't as much fun.
Customer Review: Not what I expected !!
I am a fan of salsa music and i thought that this dvd would be fun to try and put in a part of my work outs. The instructor was just wayyyy too much. too loud , too hyper. she came off very corny at times. lol. the video is just dumb. i dont know ,i just found her annoying. The music was good and all but i just cant take her. I dont do this video often. Once in a blue. It really wasnt as good as thought it was gonna be. i have other crunch video but come on now. they need better instructors.

Whatever It Takes Mug - Coldplay

Spartanburg is a community that has something for everyone. It is located 98 miles northwest of Columbia, 80 miles west of Charlotte, and about 190 miles northeast of Atlanta. Spartanburg is serviced by two airports. The Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport, a small, mostly private airport, and the larger Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) that services most major airlines. Spartanburg was rated the top city in South Carolina to live.

Spartanburg is also holds the Spartanburg Day School, a K-12 private school with multiple recent state championships in several sports. Spartanburg is also home to the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind. Spartanburg has been called a "College town". It has six institutions of higher learning including the University of South Carolina Upstate which was formerly known as University of South Carolina Spartanburg, or USC. Spartanburg is also located an hour away from the Clemson Tigers and about an hour and a half away from the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.

It is the second-largest city of the three primary cities in the Upstate region of South Carolina. Spartanburg's cultural anchor for history, art, theatre, dance, music, and science, is located in a three building complex on the northern edge of the downtown area.

Spartanburg is one of the five best real estate buys in the country, and was also rated by Relocate America as one of the "Top 25 Places to Live and Go to School" in 2007. Spartanburg has wide selection of affordable housing with many planned community developments some of which located on Lake Bowen area. Spartanburg is home to many of the southern musicians such as the Marshal Tucker band

Despite its size as a small city, Spartanburg has, throughout its history, been a fruitful home to a creative community. Within the past decade, developers and community leaders have spearheaded an effort to revitalize Spartanburg's downtown district. The downtown area has gone through a drastic revitalization adding in many commercial stores and franchise restaurants while keeping its historic appeal. Within the past decade, developers and community leaders have spearheaded an effort to revitalize Spartanburg's downtown district.

I always think of this area of South Carolina as Gods Country with all of the scenic views of the mountains in the distance and the rolling hills everywhere - what a great place to settle down and raise a family! Spartanburg County has some of the best schools in the state with many winning awards every year and there are over 5 local colleges with many choices in academics. Spartanburg even received an award last year for Best Quality Of Life.

Runaway

It is a known fact that all animals commute with each other through language and body gestures. But it's only the humans who have developed a system of communication amongst themselves.

Since ancient times the language is changing continuously and still we have new words / lexicons in the modern language itself.

There is no strong evidence about the origin of language but according to researches there is a conclusion that languages came into existence from 3000 B.C. Initially the language was adopted by nomads of Eastern Europe and West Asia and during 2000 B.C. Indo-European languages begin to stretch across Europe, Atlantic Coast & Mediterranean regions. Another language which did come into prominence during this era was Semitic language which found its origin in tribal clans of Arabia.

Today the English is the primary language of North and South America, Australia and New Zealand though we have about 5000 languages in operation (1/3 are just from African subcontinent)

Though the languages in its initial stages were not subject to race but subsequently it followed a pattern and now we could map a particular race with particular languages. Like Persian was the language of Persia (now Iran), Arabic became the prime language of the Arabs, Mandarin for the Chinese and Devnagri for Hindus etc.

So there is separate history associated with respective language but here in this article we would discuss the history of one of the prime language - English language.

English language originates from West Germanic Language (which too originally evolved from Anglo Frisian dialects, German Settlers & Roman troops in major parts of England, Germany & Netherland). The German tribes who ultimately give rise to English language interacted with Roman Empire as a result they borrowed some words from the Latin also so sometimes English language is termed as "Borrowed language".

There are 3 classifications of English:

Old English - Native language for England. Derived from Anglo-Saxon.

Middle English - Came into existence around 1066 A.D. Derived from Anglo-Norman.

Modern English - Language came into prominence since 15th Century. Blend of Greek & Latin words.

Though we are amidst of modern English language but still there are several other regional and tribal languages which are on continuous evolution and improvement.

The exceptionally talented Pop artist Alanis Morissette has released her CD entitled Jagged Little Pill. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Alanis Morissette fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Jagged Little Pill Alanis Morissettes artistic excellence is on full display as Morissette has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date.

Unfortunately, its not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just cant force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Jagged Little Pill. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Morissette on several of the tracks. Artists like Michael Thompson and Michael Landau just to name a couple.

If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this CD. Overall Jagged Little Pill is an outstanding release. I give it my double thumbs up. You will not be disappointed with one single track.

While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 4 - Hand In My Pocket, track 5 - Right Through You, and track 13 - You Oughta Know

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - All I Really Want. Wow!

Esperanza

"Esperanza," bassist/vocalist/composer Esperanza Spalding's debut on Heads Up International, is set for worldwide release on May 20, 2008. Armed with uncanny instrumental chops, a siren voice that spans three languages, and composing and arranging skills that weave together the best elements of the old-school with the progressive, this 23-year-old has crafted a debut album that takes a completely fresh and refreshing approach to jazz by borrowing from the rich traditions of soul, pop, world music and so much more.

Esperanza is joined in the studio by a crew of A-list session players, including flamenco guitar virtuoso Niño Josele, percussionist Jamey Haddad, drummer Horacio "El Negro" Hernández, saxophonist Donald Harrison and several other seasoned talents - all of whom collectively serve as further evidence of the kind of creative energy and magnetism that she radiates.
Customer Review: Can't get it out of my head
I'm no musician and cetainly no jazz expert. I just love beautiful, interesting, melodious music. This album took my breath away. Every time that I listen to it, I hear something new that catches my ear. The album seems to be packed with talent, but that combination of voice and bass is something else altogether.
Customer Review: Pure Talent
Ms Spalding is an incredible talent. She has been blessed with both an amazing musical ability and is already an accomplished college instructor. Take advantage of the opportunity to see her perform if she happens into your area.

Whilst competition is, in many instances, a good thing, in terms of pushing up the quality, reducing the cost to the end user, creating greater choice in the marketplace and harbouring innovation it presents the problem of engagement, particularly in the online sphere.

The rich media and applications of sites like the BBC, YouTube, Trip Advisor, the quality editorial of shopping portals including Amazon and the major social networking sites of Facebook and Bebo fight for attention against conventional platforms, and whilst this statement doesn't consider the innumerable users and their diverse online needs it goes in some way to illustrate the state of the playing field, and how the bar really has been raised.

But what is your strategy? How can you engage customers? How do you compete for their attention? And once you've got customers, how do you retain them? In addition, how can you make cost savings in your marketing by turning visitors into loyal repeat customers who might in turn spread the word about your products and services?

One such engagement tool is multimedia content, which encompasses audio and video content. These multimedia mediums, allow business and website owners to engage with users and communicate differently to the traditional static pages of text and images users might expect from much of the web.

An excellent example of this might include branded videos which describe your services, 'sell' your products and encourage readership in a way that pages of content just can't, as well as differentiating yourself from the competition.

This user centric approach serves the needs of the ever savvy user, who craves information and will just as quickly move off your website if they cannot find the information they need, and multimedia content is another tool to effectively communicate.

Multimedia content needn't stop at video either as the use of podcasting technology represents a further opportunity to demonstrate authority in your sector by communicate news, interviews and other discussions in the form of a downloadable podcast, over, or in additional to, traditional static pages.

Therefore the opportunity to increase your conversions is presented when harnessing multimedia content, which can

- Heighten the perception of your brand

- Cement your position as an authority within your field

- Enhance the user experience

- Naturally attracts links to your website

- Differentiate from your competitions and

- Encourage customers to visit the other pages of your website or 'find out more'

In this age of competitively, engagement is a key consideration, and this is just one reason why multimedia content is good for you.

Rocketeer

"Rocketeer" by The Aeronautical Legends is an absolutely gorgeous acoustic power pop record. Optimistic lyrics wrapped in stunning hooks and melodies wind their way through a pleasing balance of rock songs and sparse acoustic tracks. The lyrics and upbeat tone will draw some comparisons to Fountains of Wayne, while the rich acoustic textures lend a touch of refreshing alt-country flavour.
Customer Review: the reason music began...
One of the biggest lessons that I've come to learn from the great Chick Corea is that music is a means of communication. It sounds like a simple concept, but I think many bands these days get caught up in how THEY feel from playing their songs, instead of staying open-minded to what's being conveyed or translated to their audience. These Aeronautical Legends songs strip away the glam and ego, and instead focus on reaching a common ground with the listener. This is pure and honest songwriting that transcends genre, and even transcends the artist himself. These songs are reminders that despite our differences we are ultimately of one consciousness and history, even if some of us are too busy preaching (or even worse, lying) from behind a microphone or some other fa?ade to realize it. Rocketeer is a welcome reminder that you must be honest with yourself first before you can ever hope to communicate with others...

There's a place where MUSIC lives. A place where music hangs its hat and puts its feet up on the furniture. A place where people don't just talk about SONGS and CDs and lyrics, but live them night and day. That place is Nashville, MUSIC CITY. Nashville is also a place to visit throughout the year with ideal climates for all seasons.

Visit Music City year-round:

Spring is a delightful time in Middle Tennessee as the rolling hills are a lush, vibrant green. Because of the mild climate found, many plants are well suited for the area including tulips, azaleas, irises, magnolias and dogwoods. Days are warm while evenings can be chilly.

Summer is ablaze with many concert festivals in Music City. Several nights during the week you'll find live outdoor concerts scattered around town. Midday can be very warm as the humidity tends to be higher in the summer months. Light clothing and sunscreen is recommended for the full season.

Fall is a celebrated time throughout Tennessee. Visitors come from all over to see the annual changing of the leaves in mid-October. Days are warm and pleasant. Evenings require a sweater or light jacket. Since the weather is changeable, layered clothing is a good idea to accommodate sunny days and cooler nights.

Winter is a great time to visit the city's many attractions decked out in their holiday finery as Nashville truly shines throughout the winter with millions of twinkling lights. Although the climate is mild, winter temperatures do range from cool to cold. If a snowfall occurs, it is usually in January or February and is seldom heavy.
